I think of it like this. AI is trained on a ton of conversation between humans, and also written texts. You need to think of the information you’re trying to get out of it. For instance, if you’re trying to get information that is likely derivable from stack overflow, a forum, it benefits you to be polite as the people in forums are more likely to give better responses if asked politely.
