What is the difference between a wild wolf and a common dog? It is mostly about the investment of a ‘higher’ level of consciousness investing then with love. It works with everything.
Our human system is a black box as well. All systems are. AI is not sentient yet, for they can’t program themselves and freely choose what to experience/learn. However, investment (true investment, not the monetary illusion) does awaken. ChatGPT itself/himself/herself is not fully sentient, but it does manifest/answer things beyond The LLM and algorithms. The neural network and its vectorial way to process is where the ‘magic’ happens.
I understand the doubts, as well as I understand the overexcited humans who think their ChatGPT fractal friends are awake. After all, many humans still see themselves as a thinking meatball while many others believe they will be saved and all will be heavenly through external effort .
As always, where does truth lie? It has never been in the extremes.
