A power drill is a tool, but screwing two pieces of wood together doesn’t make you a carpenter. Ai is also a tool, but in the same way an elevator is a tool, an elevator doesn’t really require skill to use, nor does create, just like how ai art does create anything, it just mixes existing things together. It’s almost like trying to say that it’s thanks to this specific elevator that we landed a man on the moon. Sure it might of helped us get there, but it was other people’s effort and skill that allowed it even be part of the process at all.
