AI is no longer a passing trend—it’s here to stay. What once felt like a distant possibility has now arrived like a tidal wave, sweeping across every part of society. Unlike water, this wave won’t recede; it’s permanent.
The troubling part is that such powerful technology has been unleashed without proper safeguards. In some ways, it feels as though humanity has handed out prizes for breakthroughs that could also hold the seeds of our downfall.
If meaningful regulation doesn’t happen soon, there may be no way to hide or protect ourselves from the risks AI brings. It doesn’t tire, it doesn’t forget, and it can outlast us. The only real safeguard must come from responsible human control—governance that keeps power in human hands rather than leaving us vulnerable to forces we can’t switch off.
