The whole ai art thing would have been fine if they hadnt IMMEDIATELY started stealing real artists art to feed it. That shit should have been an opt in only model that should have only been fed by artists that are willing to do stuff SPECIFICALLY for it. And under the stipulation that the art generated via the AI had to immediately be released as creative commons/Public Domain to prevent it from being used to enter any competitions. I think it's funny to generate hilarious warped memes but aside from that it should never be a substitute for REAL art.
