😊Hi, I've reached the point of discussing the replacement of neurons with artificial ones. I have two questions. Firstly, is this even feasible at the current stage? Secondly, I noticed that the author, being a materialist, does not consider David Chalmers' "hard problem of consciousness" and downward causality. This is important, as it allows us to make a key distinction between AI and our own consciousness.
AI operates in an ontologically homogeneous digital environment, while biological consciousness appears to emerge at the intersection of different levels of matter organization, which is the "ontological gap." Additionally, AI algorithms are generally understood (at least by their creators), while the "software" of the brain remains a terra incognita.
