Should artist really be concerned about ai taking their jobs? it's important to consider that the art world is not solely about the technical skill of creating an image. Art is an expression of emotion, culture, and human experience, all of which can't be fully replicated by a machine. At most, an Ai could only "imitate" such experiences...and if futuristic ai comes to exist, then they would probably make robotic "emotion, culture, and robotic experience" you know, art for robots. It's not uncommon for new technologies to disrupt an industry, and AI-generated art may be no exception. It's important for artists to be aware of the changes in the industry and adapt their skills accordingly. To be honest, art is more of a passion job rather than an economic job, most who are in that profession are in it for the passion, not for the money, artist, animators, and jobs similar have a history of being underpaid, I believe art is more suited as a hobby rather than as an "occupation" but then again, art and animation have led to great wonderpieces that many still enjoy today. Personally Ai art will bring new things, as well as competition in the art industry, but human artist will still always have key "characteristics" in art that Ai will never be able to fully replicate, but artists, just like with most occupation, should always strive to improve their work if they wish to make art their hobby and occupation, something that has always been the case even before AI arrived. The thing is, technically, Human artists will always have better potential than even the most futuristic advanced AI, as AI goes based on established material and on its code. Human artist will make new innovative art, and those innovative introductions in art my lead to a new artistic revolution, AI will always be behind on that matter as the Ai would always be...at most, just below the top artists of the field. I know that Ai will only make it harder for artist to have a stable financial income, but human artist will always be able to provide things in their art that AI can never truly replicate, People will still what human artwork and human artist will continue to use their unique creative minds to create artwork never seen before.
