My personal stance is Ai should be a tool and these kinds of thing are exactly why, The idea is there for people to see and then ou can take that idea and actually create something from that like a character design. I can't draw for shit but I have a lot of characters in my head, I've also had bad experiences when trying to commission artist without a pre-existing reference. So when I wanted to make a character for a Vtuber model I first turned to Ai to get the visual I liked, then I took that referance to a real artist and paid them to make that character real with actual art. Through Ai I have supported artist and made something I am Extremely proud of in the process, the original piece now sits on my computer for whenever I need to make a commission but now that character has a full character sheet I don't really need to use it anymore which makes me even happier.
