The ratio of plumbers needed for companies is unlikely sufficient to support all plumbers. With AI running so much, less commercial real estate will be needed. How do they plan to address the negative financial crisis that will ensue from businesses who no longer need hundreds of thousands of square feet to accommodate their workforce? That has already been an issue since the pandemic. Aside from productivity concerns (which I think are overstated), I imagine most large corporations were being leaned on by the government, who was being pressured by large banks, institutional investors, and the capital markets. The global economy would fail in an excruciatingly devastating way if the commercial real estate market goes bust. Not heard ANYONE discussing this reality. People not working would be an existential crisis. God designed us to be productive and work. If Jesus isn’t on the way for his second coming, then I hope he’s packing a suitcase!
