We had AI built into Davisware when the app frequently crashed, databases didn't pull customer history, and the app killed the phone battery in mere hours. It was intended to take our notes from working on commercial cooking equipment and put them into a nice little paragraph for the customer for building purposes.
It would take our notes and create this fantasy story about fixing a fax machine and some copiers. Later on, it would create bullet notes that we could not copy and paste because their software didn't support bullet notes. Only the AI supported bullet notes. Every time they released an update, it would stop working and we would lose productivity. I don't work for that company anymore, but I hear they are upon the plug on that software. I was manually typing out my notes and nobody could figure out why until everyone else started doing the same. Didn't help that our owner's son would randomly go in and change settings without telling anyone, without testing.
