But wait, most of the jobs in the world ARE physical. There are far fewer CFO’s and engineers than assemblers and plumbers etc. So AI is a threat to management and since it doesn’t get a bonus or absurdly huge paychecks, it might reinvest in the workers and R&D. And if it replaces ALL workers and nobody can pay for goods, it will cease manufacturing so I guess we’ll all go back to work so we can have stuff.
