You're right to highlight that risk, however overregulating AI could unintentionally create barriers that only big corporations can afford to cross — stifling independent creators and small developers. At the same time, we need to find a middle ground that doesn't allow corporations (or nations) to exploit artists en masse. Maybe the real solution is transparency and opt-in data systems — so we protect rights without crippling progress. Tricky balance, but crucial.
