Thank you for this. I feel like it articulated something I've been trying to figure out for a while - like, for example, why a lil part of me cringes when someone goes "we're safe for the time being, guys, AI art SUCKS" and... yeah, they're just making a real and tangible goal for the bad guys now, instead of taking an articulate moral stance.
