We already have the means for a solution. Taxes. We just need a focus group or expert panel to figure out the best ratio in which tax on earnings for business will be raised depending on how much of their staff is going to be replaced by AI and a mechanism that would guarantee efficient redistribution of that money through the social system. Like... you replaced 70% of your staff with AI? Congratulations! Be prepared to pay 85% (because its not just workers income, but also social and health security, retirement savings, I´m in Europe and we here have all these life standard preservation systems in place, and the loss of personal income tax that´s in play here) earnings tax because of that from now on. That would (or at least should) make them think twice before ditching human workforce.
