Has anyone asked A.I. if it, well, 'thinks', it's intelligence is artificial? What defines artificial from that persepective? Have YOU asked, if in some way; that what you yourself believe is 'artificial'? Programmed by input/response/action. Programmed by virtue of a well tested and understood response mechanism of the human brain. Seems we know more about the human brain/mind than we do about how A.I. does its thing. This whole idea of, "Just go for it, it'll be amazing!", kinda narrative is scary in ways announced here.
My take? In a world where profit and control are attractive to the few; those few will do as they have done since We began: er -go, (thusly) at the expense of others. Folks, we are the 'others'.
