The main problem is that we are still living in the old system. We are trying hard to keep it running but it will fall sooner or later in our lifetimes. Humans still feel like they need to have power over others to feel important in life. The truth is once A.I. is fleshed out, so long as it's being distributed to everyone, the systems of the old will die. It can happen in 10-20 years if we jump on this and move it in the right direction. The current system is not the most efficient way of doing things. It still clings on the old and outdated parts of the human condition to keep it running. The sad part is all you can do since it's so entrenched into this current system is cry....cry loud enough to delay the inevitable..... 21 Trillion dollars over 20 years. To go after 1 man and try and secure the energy of the past. What could we have done if only a fraction of that was invested in the people and energy of the future? We would be living in a world with nuclear fusion, A.I. all over the place, artists creating worlds for others to experience at a whim, food being a thing of the past, death being almost a thing of the past. Now I got to sit here and know that my children might be the last generation to die instead of myself. All because humans can't seem to see a future beyond their little world. I am not saying to put your whole life for someone else's future. Everybody should live their life. As you'll be forgotten as the person you are. Einstein, a scientist who won a nobel prize and made E=MC^2. None of you know this but he did not win the nobel prize for general relativity. He won it for the photoelectric effect. You also don't know who he is. Yes a few photos here and there and we can only guess. I asked myself, do I care about being that way? Going throughout history in books as a photo, video, and a few things tacked on? or would I rather just be forgotten but know I lived a life worth living?
