AI doomsayers are typically people who are intimately involved with AI and have business interests in it. I wonder why? Wouldn't have anything to do with trying to create an aura of inevitability of AI taking over everything, so businesses think they HAVE to invest in AI companies or get left behind? The same AI companies who are burning through trillions in cash and having little to show for it?
