“AI” doesn’t exist yet. LLM (GPT) are not intelligent in any way. They are predictive models working on large data sets. They have no understanding of the world or memory. They hallucinate up to 50% of the time. You cannot scale an LLM to be AGI. It just won’t work. For all the promise of change, the results are Sora 2 slop, poor writing, and non-factual information being generated. All at a major cost to society in energy and water. This will crash once we realize ChatGPT was mostly a hyped gimmick.
