The thing that bothers me the most about ai generated images isn’t the ai, it’s the person claiming to be an artist. The ai is just a program created by humans to do what we tell it to do, but then people come along, type in some prompts, and suddenly that makes them an artist. If we treated the ai as a real art creator (which it’s not, it’s just a complex algorithm) then it’s no more the ai bros art than it would be my art if I asked a friend to draw a picture for me.
