There is another problem with AI art, and that's the fact that it's AI. I'm sorry, anyone who doesn't understand that AI will have far-reaching, destructive and incredibly damaging effects on society as a whole is deluding themselves.
Not to mention that AI can only copy. So many innovative artists will never exist because they will never be able to work full-time on their craft and develop a unique and interesting style. Everything will end up looking like generic 21st century art if we allow AI to overpower the industry. Or AI will become sentient and creative and then we'll have an entirely different problem.
