I implemented PNN and HMM many years back for real expensive products, and then switched to something else. So I do have a basic understanding of how data is used to compute a result than can be trusted. But that is the whole point and matches my today experience with CoPilot, Chatgpt etc: the ultimate instance to tell if the results are true can only be humans. AI results look smart, but be careful: a nice structure, correct grammar, sophisticated wording do not make the content true.
