Here's another point, higher intelligence/productivity doesn't always mean higher profits.
Imagine if there was a theoretical limit to how much you could possibly do to make a company profitable... and then imagine that the AI has done that completely and perfectly 24/7.
Let's say that they have done everything that they could possible do that... and yet...
What if the profits made while hitting that limit were just not enough?
What happens then?
Imagine owning stocks in the top AI company that wasn't as profitable as the last time, they still earned more then everyone else but it wasn't enough.
