I just don’t get why ai is getting so much positive attention. Sure, I use ai myself but not for the purposes that a lot of people might use it for. I‘m experimenting with the ai‘s output in order to see what I could do with it. However, even if ai is going to become an integral part of society, it will never be able to replace humans. An ai may be able to write a piece of code and back it up with an explanation of how it works. However, said ai has no concept of code or doesn’t even know what a word is. It is only programmed and trained to take something out of its data set and then put something new together that still makes sense. Then of course, there’s also the ethical problems which I hope will be addressed fairly soon by governments. I myself am not a good artist and I’m also not too good at writing. However, I still pick manual, long and hard work over just typing what I want to see into an ai. Why do I do that when it’s less convenient? Because I value the finished product as much as the journey it took to get there.
