Are the people who think AI is sentient, sentient?
I have to wonder ...what do they think constitutes sentience?
Do they think the proverbial monkeys typing novels understand the novels they randomly typed?
AI is random-monkey-typing but guided by the prompters who reject the 'wrong' answers.
They get filtered out in later interactions of a similar type.
The only sentience exhibited is directly sourced in people.
Accusing AI of sentience is like accusing runes of speaking.
