People today marvel at the birth of AI, wondering how wonderful their lives will be with this new technology, and how this new consciousness will make their lives easier.
But there's a darkside, as tens of millions of people worldwide will ultimately lose their jobs within customer service, IT and retail sectors, as more and more employers will turn to AI in order to make more money. This is why I believe the world is slow to react to what is coming, as more and more are becoming enslaved without realising. We already live in a dumbed down world, but a future landscape where AI plays a prominent role in society will make sure that mankind won't ever have to think again for themselves. And that would be detrimental for mankind.
