I’m going to guess that the problem wasn’t AI so much as it was voice recognition technology. If LLMs can understand you, they’re fine. But voice recognition technology sucks. It doesn’t recognize accents, it doesn’t deal well with background noise. Not so may point out that voice recognition technology is AI, and yes, I suppose so… But it is separate from the capacity of an LLM. They have to learn how to integrate the two, and they have to learn how to make a better voice recognition technology
