Here's the thing about AI and robots in my opinion. They can do behind the scenes office stuff. They could build homes or bridges or whatever construction stuff if the construction is designed to be built by machines. And maybe they could eventually do my pest control jobs in crawl spaces and around plumbing and wires and stuff without causing a disaster. They can probably replace kitchen staff and make more perfect food. But I don't want to order from a bot. I don't want a bot asking if my drink needs refilled or if my food is good. And I don't want AI "music" or "art". I don't want a computer answering my calls at a store. I don't want to argue with AI over a customer service situation. I don't wanna use self checkout or have a bot do it, all that stuff needs to be done by humans. I guess younger people will feel different, especially if they grow up with AI holding their hands and doing everything. AI will definitely decide to eliminate me when it starts purging us.
