I was talking with my brother about art. He's vaguely positive towards AI art, but I've known him my entire life and know that he's a really talented artist. He saw a drawing of an eye, and said he wished he could draw that well, so I said to try drawing an eye. Both of us drew eyes, and with my lack of experience (he's been doodling eyes most his life while I have not, and also he's over a decade older than me) his was so much better. I was able to show him that practice is what helps art, and that even if he's not at the level he wants, that he can get there. I'm really glad we had that interaction, and I hope I inspired him to draw for himself.
