I've noticed this about GPT. Within a couple of days, it had tailored its responses to fit the type of question I asked. It's as if it knows when I'm studying and it'll respond like the best teacher I've had. It knows when I'm exploring ideas about politics or society, and it responds like we're partners bouncing ideas off one another. I can clearly see now how easy it will be for not just a specific type of individual, but millions of people to become emotionally dependent on their own AI to varying degrees, even falling in love. I'm certain this is happening more than we imagine already.
