I've been feeling frustrated because someone I know who doesn't understand the issues with AI and the problems surrounding AI art, has suggested I use it to cut down on the amount of time I spend on my own art. When I have shot down them on that, they turn around and just say, "AI is the future, you think you not using it is going to prevent it" which is not what I think, what I think is that I don't want to support the use of stolen work, supporting the tools big businesses want to implement to cut costs and fire a large amount of workers and I want to support the restricting of AI to a certain extent. I believe AI can be a handy tool in given situations, but the use in every situation is redundant, pointless and a waste of energy, resources and arguable time. Also on that note, they are a big supporter of AI and I generally avoid conversation with them as they talk about it as if they understand anything about it, even though in reality they ignore any negative points about AI.
