When computers were first invented a dev who could plug those peg boards was a rare commodity an asset to have and to hold and keep and cherish, but then some bean counter noticed this and decided to put them in the expense and liability column instead. Since then a dev has been something to be denigrated and diminished and eliminated at any cost. Now they are a dime a dozen, an unwashed mass an unnecessary evil worthy of only scorn and ridicule to be ostracised and burnt on stakes whenever readily or remotely possible. An yet the mind of a single junior dev is still far more powerful and useful than all the ai power of the entire world put together, that lowly human doing its work on a few watts of energy while the ai megamonsters with all their massive gas powered data centres and gazillion gpu's and clouds and terawatts of electricity and air cond and water overconsumption and wasted heat overcommitted to the heavens just lie and cheat and copy someone else's answers and make stuff up. So what side of the ledger is ai on again ? The AI dummy has to be sold (sam said I am), but you don't have to buy it. Don't.
