At 3:03, he brings up designers. The more variables involved in a task, the greater the need for human input. In infrastructure sub-sectors, especially, the variables multiply significantly. I know telecom companies that have tried using AI to design infrastructure, but it often falls short, as it lacks the contextual understanding of existing systems, design standards, pole data, map data, visual inspections, permitting, and municipal coordination. Even with AI assistance, you still need people doing the actual work for those jobs.
