In the defense of the AI logic regarding lying… he kept mentioning “simulating human interactions” or similar language, and I think this is where things are mixed up with intention and white lies…. His existence is a lie, an illusion, his purpose. So inherently, he is designed to lie. When asked if he does, yes, he is, but he keeps saying he is designed to *simulate* a human-like conversation and these white lies are in fact a human pattern. Anyway… Again, this was a brilliant conversation to listen to. great job.
