Well I'm sorry this may not make good online content knowing people like polarized opinions but... As a really not art brained individual, I still did manage to learn graphism decently in a few month and hundreds of hours, but I still like ai tho... (graphism as the broad 2d art from drawing to vector and pixel art) I really think delegating part of a piece to AI is actually relieving. Recently I made a concept art and my line are bad cuz I lean to low resolution pixel art now, and that I wanted to see something more polished than what I learnt to do. So i gave my poorly drawn line art and AI relined it so I could do a simple rendering on it, then I gave it back on ai to have it fix stuff. Well, if I feel like drawing, I draw, but if I don't want like the time I just want quick visual for an idea that ran into my mind, well AI became handy. And some times, I get up and spend the time to do it myself (and it's really therapeutic to do ngl). In the end, I'm just delegating a need I seen as an unwanted thing to do, while sometime this thing is what I want to do. Some times I enjoy the full process while some other time I only enjoy some specific parts of that process 😅. Now I want to simply express my confusion about the hate between people that don't want to learn how art is done and "traditional" by that I mean digital artists. And peps in the middle just trying to make the thing that render them satisfied for themselve and surrounding. I wish some more popular artists tried implementing AI to nuance the game. Try asking the Ai to render a line art, or try making it fix you line art to what you need (sharper, smoother, more some kind of shapes or idk what style someone would want tbh) then render it yourself.
