I wonder to what extent the things important to human like love, friendship, community and other deep warm feelings that keep us tethered to earth are not internalized by AI are due to the fact that they largely exist in oral culture of private communications. We don't often go write essays on our blogs (back when those existed...) about how much we love our friends - sometimes, but not often and not with the same intensity of rigor as we are ready to prove others wrong on the Internet.
