Being good at drawing is the same as being good at reading, or writing, or rock climbing, or piano, or cooking. You have to work at it. You have to practice in order to be good at things. Nobody is just born with these skills. You have to develop them intentionally with time, work, and effort. The "inaccessible innate skill" argument is so stupid and annoying because that's just not how being good at things works. It also completely misses what the point of art actually is: the process. The finished product is the culmination of all the work you did to get there. THAT'S what makes art important to the people who make it. It's not just about looking at something pretty and thinking, "Wow, that's pretty, I'm so glad I have this thing that I can look at." It's about having an idea and putting effort into its execution. If you had an idea, then told ChatGPT to execute it for you, you've skipped basically the entire creative process. That's why it isn't art.
