I first saw AI demonstrated in 1983 at Wang Labs in Lowell, Mass. They named it Aristotle and thought it might be useful in generating complicated legal documents. Actually got to meet the founder of Wang Labs, An Wan, formerly the fifth richest man in the world. Sadly, An Wang passed in 1990.
