look yall gonna flame the shit out of me and im ready for that. Ive been laughed at and humiliated by artiest types my whole life. Its the main reason i never put the time into the craft and it sucks because i would love to be able to do what yall do. the simple fact is it was gate kept from me. on to my point. can ai art gen systems recreate the images there trained on... fuck yes. do i think this is wrong also yes.... but also no. heres my thing. you would expect some one to credit there work especilly if they coppied it. same rules should apply here. also ive personally never seen any of the programs i use just spit out a full on fake of something even from popular coulter. i 100% agree that what alot of these content farmers do is sick degrading and fucking wrong. but at the same time if some one like me is actuly crafting prompts from there heart and soul then 9 times out of 10 the produced image will be unique. the ai dosent amadgen it dosent think it dosent feel. the way it works under the hood is mostly random. what is being trained is not the peace of art but the elements in it. the genaration is used to tell the system hey this image has a red hat in it and you show it enough images with red hats eventuly it can figure out what shapes make up a red hat... i guess what im trying to say ai art genaration systems are tools and just like any tool it can be abused. i personally admire your conviction and drive to fight this head on and omg it is such a bad ass idea ive got to know more about it... but a few simple lines of code in these systems to check an inpur prompt or output for copyrighted data would do the job.... and i know that dosent help smaller creaitors. and i do truly feel sorry that they get caught up in this and some may have had there content straight up ripped off like this.... but honestly i dont see a small time creator loosing money or even there fame from this. what alot of people dont relise about piriting is its a double edged sword. ya you immeditly loose the money of that image that was created for free from your work. but if that work is being viewed and passed around eventuly it will get to some one who knows that creator and then there name gets assoceated with it and suddenly that at first unknown creator is now world famous. im not saying it always happens like that, but im saying there are two sides to everything. the shit that alot of people are doing with these programs is honeslt hanious.... but for some one like me who was so bullied there afraid to take up a pencle or brush... it gives me the chance to make something and inspire me to try other things... hell i got so enspired i gave myslef carple tunnel in my dominent hand after painting gunpla so much that within a month i emptied a pasck of gundam markers..... i guess what im saying is ya alot of the use of these programs is fucking wrong.... but some of it can be amazing.... assuming the art comunity is half as inclusive as its made out to be... i donno just a old nerd who pushed themselves way to far to fit in were they didnt want to becasue they never were accepted were they thoguth they could find a home... rost away i guess... cause u know ai bad... ya😞
