These automated trucks in the story are just terminal to terminal. When a truck has a load going to a manufacturing business or something like infrastructure construction, I don't think that will be easily automated anytime soon. And what about oversized loads that can only operate on certain roads and times of the day depending on the location? Who will keep all of the terminal-to-terminal trucks working, controls and software up-to-date and functional?
