Gonna play devil's advocate here and remind everyone of what it was like when computers started being used for art and animation in place of traditional hand drawn methods, and once again when Photoshop arrived. So much argument about whether it's real art or not. "It's just photoshopped". While I agree typing a sentence into a pretrained AI model doesn't make you an artist I absolutely think there is room for AI to be used to make maybe if you train an AI yourself or use an iterative process? There needs to be a clear input of artistic directions and ideas from the artist though, otherwise you're basically just a person commissioning an artwork from an AI
