Here in Canada, doctors are in such short supply, it's virtually impossible to get in to see one, so the sooner AI can functionally do the majority of their work, the better. Obviously there will always be a place for human doctors in specialized roles, but honestly, whenever I've been into a family doctor at a walk-in clinic, half the time they don't really listen to me, misdiagnose me, and prescribe treatments that are more harmful than helpful. So the bar for AI to pass is very low.
