I'd rather worship Elon Musk over influencers like musicians. I don't think he's overlooking these issues, I think the journey towards autonomous vehicles in itself is a troubleshoot and it's only going to improve so things like this happen less and less to not at all. Compared to regular cars and drivers that's still an objectively better outcome in my opinion. Autonomy is the future.
