In the UK there is no way or need to register copyright.
It is conferred automatically on qualified original works.
It looks like that we will need some case law regarding AI generated or assisted works.
That could be both long-winded and expensive before we have clarity.
I rather doubt parliament will find time to amend the copyright law any time soon, even if it thinks it necessary to do so.
