the tech guys want to make money, and the transportation guys want to reduce costs, so together they are PUTTING CONSUMERS OUT OF WORK. in the end, truck drivers are consumers. no one is addressing the knock on effects of putting millions of consumers out of work in many industries with AI / automation. You see ROBOTS DON'T REALLY BUY MUCH STUFF. SO prices will get higher with fewer Consumers, until the idiots run out of consumers which means you really won't need much automation at some point. then what ?
