I use AI generated images in my work but I fully support artists getting royalties from companies that use their art to train their models. The long game here is to start a class action lawsuit which will sue on the basis that the models represent X percentage of their business and therefore all artists used for the training of said AI will get their respective percentage of that cut. The upside here is that as these organizations grow the amount they will owe in backpay would be considerable and worth pursuing. If and when any attempts to force these companies into compliance occurs I will happily donate to the cause.
