I feel like AI is a good servant but a bad master. I use AI (grammarly) to help me with academic writing tasks (it is not my native language and helps me sound more polished). But blind overreliance on it is really bad. I still use my ideas, my data and know what I am writing. A few times I used ChatGPT to generate something I did not remember anything about the text because I did not write it. I am also a trainee teacher and use AI to help me sort my thoughts to work sheets and tests that would take me hours to do. I still to the mental labour let’s say and use AI for the manual thoughless steps that save me time to help my students.
