It's very hard to predict the future, we often fail to account fot every relevant factor... one factor I think this video misses is politics. People still vote. And they can get very angry about losing their jobs. Maybe even angry enough to vote on radical proposals like banning AI or even collective ownership of companies. Or things can get very bad and society become a cyberpunk-esque police state in order to protect the haves from the have-nots.
