I don't usually agree with Tucker or even Fox News, but on this it seems foolish to be partisan. The only sane thing to do here is to pull the breaks, regulate, and for god's sake figure out how we can possibly mass-produce something vastly more intelligent than ourselves and expect to make it out alive. This isn't a fringe issue, it's a hot debate among leading AI researchers. Regardless of how many sane people are withholding further development, you can be sure the craziest among them will push on unless it's universally controlled.
