He doesn't realize something, and therefore, he is incorrect in predicting a 99% unemployment rate. Throughout history, when a large percentage of the population was unemployed, governments redirected the population to the war industry. Unemployed people were put to use as soldiers, thus getting them off the streets. The same will happen this time. It's expensive for a government to make a robot soldier; it's much cheaper to have a human do the fighting. Governments will use wars to enrich themselves and reduce the size of their population. That's what will happen, sadly.
