sometimes i think about what the world would be like if there was an AI uprising, but humanity managed to contain and neutralize it before it could destroy the entire world. my hypothesis is that wed basically live in the world of fahrenheit 451 where it is now humanitys goal to completely expunge AI from existence. any ownership of AI code, or even anything created by AI would be considered a felony. there would be entire task forces designed specifically to find and destroy data storage devices with anything AI related to it. there would be secret underground AI cults that worshipped the forbidden AI, and large government operations like the FBI would have controlling it their top priority
